In May of 2022, Donpolt Orwenyo Zakayo joined LJA Associates LLP as a Pupil and in March of 2023, he was admitted to the bar as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya.

Donpolt’s academic history saw him graduate top of his class at Moi University, Law School in 2021. He went on to the Kenya School of Law where he swiftly completed the Advocates Training Program and was awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Law.

Before LJA, Donpolt was an intern at Irungu Kang’ata and Company Advocates. Donpolt has done pro bono work as a legal aid service provider at Transparency International Kenya in Uasin Gishu County. He participated in the Lawyers’ Honoraria for Community Sensitization Forum for Indigent Members of the Society.

In his time at LJA, Donpolt has demonstrated dedication and resilience and has become an integral part of the LJA Team. He is a jack of all trades and is majorly involved in; the Dispute Resolution, Corporate and Commercial and Immigration Departments.

Donpolt enjoys watching historical and wildlife documentaries and reading adventure novels. For mental and physical fitness, he plays chess and basketball games.
